The Door of Blessings

August 4, 2017

God gives us doors, but they can only be opened when we meet the conditions (requirements) that God has set.

The Door of Blessings is opened when you meet the following requirements:

1.  Live a Holy Life by walking in the will and plan of God, rather than the ideals, attitudes, and customs of the world; and rather than the advice and purposes of sinners.

2. You walk in the will and plan of God by using the R-Reading, S-Studying, and M-Meditating method.  That is, Read, Study, and Meditate on the Word of God.

“But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”  (Psalm 1:2)

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”  (Joshua 1:8)

3.  When you tithe unto God you open the Door of blessings because God says in Malachi 3:10-11 “Bring all the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.  And I will rebuke the devourer [insects and plagues] for your sakes and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground, neither shall your vine drop its fruit before the time in the field, says the Lord of hosts.”

God will rebuke the devourer (things that eat up your money).  For example, your car being constantly in need of repair.  The harvest you are reaping through tithing will not be premature, but an ON-TIME HARVEST.  Whatever you need, God will provide it when you need it.  He will provide more than you need.

And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”  (Philippians 4:19)

Trust and depend on God for ALL YOU NEEDS, rather than the world system; rather than man.

“Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.  In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.  Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil.”  (Proverbs 3:5-7)

“Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.  Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

They also do no iniquity: they walk in his way.  Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.  O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!  Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.  I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.

I will keep thy statutes . . .”  (Psalm 119:1-8)

 TRUSTING IN THE LORD

But trust in and lean on the Lord without wavering and you won’t slide.

Trusting in self and relying on your own physical strength is an expression of pride.

Acknowledge God in all your ways, and from his thoughts and ways you will never part.

But if you decide to go your own way from your God-given purposes you will never start.

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

And you will experience love, joy, and peace during the day and at night.

Honor and respect God in thought, word, and deed through love,

And you will ascend to higher spiritual heights like a dove.

Remember to put God first and not last,

Then you will experience joy unspeakable joy,

And a peace that surpasses understanding,

and a love for others that cannot be outcast.

Anchor of Hope

March 20, 2016

ANCHOR OF HOPE

God is our hope.

So don’t be downtrodden without hope.

Hold your head up high,

Like an eagle in the sky.

The directions of an eagle are four.

Spread your wings of faith and soar.

Soar to heights thought unreachable by your mind,

And greater understanding and revelation of the Word of God you will find.

Love, joy, and peace will dwell,

And move you on the path of righteousness well.

Removing the Layers

June 27, 2014

God has a treasure in each and everyone of us, that is to be developed and shine brighter than the brightest star.  In order for us to discover the treasure God has endowed us with even before we were born, we must remove the layers of unforgiveness, pain, depression, shame, anxiety, pride, and greed that cover it. These layers keep us at low levels in the knowledge and wisdom of God.

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. (Colossians 1:9-10)

God desires us to please Him by bearing fruit and constantly growing and increasing in the knowledge of God with fuller, deeper, and clearer insight of the Word of God. He desires us to come up higher in Him.  He desires His children to grow and reach new heights – new levels of spiritual understanding so that we can impart this knowledge and understanding to others.

These layers of unforgiveness, pain, depression, shame, anxiety, pride, and greed burden us.  They are weights that hold us down.  God wants us to be free, not burdened down.  For if we are burdened down we will not be able to finish the race (our Christian walk with God).  We must come from under the covers of “layers” and rise.

Arise and walk, saith the Lord.

Luke 5:17 -20

In this chapter, Jesus healed a man with palsy.  Palsy is paralysis, characterized by tremoring of body parts such as legs, arms, etc.

The palsy and sins were the layers that the man was covered by.  Once Jesus forgave and healed him, the layers were permanently removed.  He was able to not only arise physically, but spiritually.  His true treasure began to shine because it was no longer clogged by disease and sin.  The paralytic man began to carry the stretcher upon which he lay as opposed to the stretcher carrying him.  The stretcher represents all those things that burdened the paralytic man (sickness, disease, and sins).

These layers must be permanently removed before we can fulfill our God-given purposes.

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and  some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-13)

So God wants us to minister to and edify the Body of Christ through our God-given purposes.  God may have called you to be a teacher or pastor or a prophet, but if you are burdened own with layers weighing you down, then your ability to minister and edify the Body of Christ is greatly diminished.

Remember God said to edify the Body of Christ, and he called his children to be apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, and evangelists for the perfecting (maturing) of the saints (brothers and sisters in the Lord).  How are we going to achieve God’s goals of perfecting and edifying if we are weighted down with layers of unforgiveness, pain, depression, shame, anxiety, pride, that inhibit our growth and maturity in the Lord, and our ability to edify (lifting up and encouraging) others.

We’ve got to come up out of the rut we are in and reach for and expect the best God has for us.  We’ve got to come up higher and experience the best God has for us.  God wants us to be free, not burdened down. For if we are burdened down we will not be able to finish the race (Christian walk with God) set before us.  We must come from under the covers of layers and rise. Arise and walk”, saith the Lord.

The layers must be permanently removed before we can fulfill our God-given purposes.

These layers are removed by releasing full control of our lives to Jesus Christ, for He is the truth, the way, and the life.  We must follow his ways of doing things, not our ways – founded upon our mind, feelings, and emotions.  In the Isaiah 55:8-9 it says that God’s ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. We must set out to do what God has called us to do.  We must continue to RISE and REACH NEW HEIGHTS – new levels of spiritual understanding, and as we do we discover His ways of doing things, and conform our thoughts and ways of doing things through the R-S-M Method (Reading, Studying, and Meditating on the Word of God).

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth . (II Timothy 2:15 )

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:  for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (Joshua 1:8)

God desires and requires us to read, study, and meditate on the Word of God, and as we do, God promotes us, lifts us, shapes us, and molds us into a divine treasure.  When the layers that beset us, and keep us from God’s best are removed, then our divine treasure glows and shines like an endless stream of light.

Jesus, the Faithful Friend

April 29, 2013

Jesus, the Friend that Sticks Closer than a Brother

“This is My commandment: that you love one another [just] as I have loved you.

No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends.  You are My friends if you keep on doing the things which I command you to do.”  (John 15:12-14)

Friend – is someone who regards you so highly that they want to be there when you need them; someone who stays when everyone else goes.

What kind of friend Jesus is not:

  1. Jesus is not a fair weather friend who disappears when things get tough.  In prosperity our friends know us, in our adversity we know our friends.  Jesus will never leave me or forsake me.

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]  Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief, ease, refreshment, recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.”  (Matthew 11:28-29)

  1. Jesus is not an unfaithful friend who stabs you in the back to get what he wants; betrays you.  For example, Joseph’s brothers betrayed him.  Judas betrayed Jesus.   Jesus is faithful all the time.  You can count on God to be faithful.  Jesus stands up to defend me forever.  Jesus is loyal, faithful and true.
  1. A friend in “word” only – speaks the language of a friend, but they see you in trouble and won’t lift their hands.  Jesus loves me enough to sacrifice.

A friend you can buy, which has no value.  You don’t have to buy Jesus’ friendship.  Jesus will always be my friend and nothing can separate your friendship.  “Nothing in my hands I bring; simply to the cross I cling.”

A friend that will flatter you.  Tell you what you want to hear.  A true friend will consider your feelings, but will tell you the truth.  Jesus does not flatter.  Jesus convicts you of wrongdoing, and sticks closer to you than a brother.  Faithful are the wounds of a friend.  Jesus will always be there for me.

Be careful how you choose your friends because they will influence you for good or for bad.  Some friends will be there for portions of your life.  Some friends will always be there for you – JESUS.

I pray that you will:

Thank God for your friends.

  • Choose Jesus to be your friend and pray that He will give you the grace to be His friend.
  • Allow this message to take root in your heart and you will apply it in your life

Judgment

February 5, 2013

Judgment is at hand.

Judgment is at hand.

Prepare! Prepare!

Prepare the way of the coming of the Lord.

He is coming with Sword and Shield

And Power that will make you kneel.

He is the Solid Rock on which to stand.

Then trials and tribulations you will withstand.

He is coming to judge the nations;

To see if they have promoted justice and righteousness to generations.

He is coming soon.

He is coming soon.

Prepare!  Prepare ye the Way of the Lord!!!

Judgment is at hand.

Judgment is at hand.

(Psalm 75:2; 7-8)        (Psalm 96:3)

January 29, 2013

Obedience and service to God activates your team of angels to defend, preserve (protect/maintenance) and accompany you along life’s journey.

Seek the Lord while He may be found.

And He will break up those things that have you bound.

Wait on Him for He is Lord of all.

By trusting and obeying Him you will never fall.

Jesus is the truth, the way and the life.

Honor Him in word, thought, and deed, and you will eliminate strife.

Glorify Jesus in praise and worship of his name.

And greater love, joy, and peace you can claim.

Praise and worship Him throughout your days long,

And He will make you strong.
