Trust Me and I Will Bring it to Pass

Think Small and You’ll Stay Small

Magnify the solution – GOD’S WORD

My people are in survival mode and it is not God’s Best.  Ruling and reigning is God’s Best.

There is a difference between survival and overcoming.  When God restores HE does not bring back to original condition.

Restoration – Multiply; increase; improve, and make better.

God is unlimited, but man can limit Him by continually asking can God do . . . Say “God Can”.

God wants me to remove the limitations I’ve placed on God and myself.

Desire – intense longing; it is easy to imagine myself having it.  I will go into action and will not quit until I possess it.

Process is as follows:

See it in the Word.

  1. Seeing it causes you to desire it.
  2. Imagine having it in my thoughts.
  3. I believe I receive it when I pray.
  4. I shall have it.

I’m increasing my ability to receive by increasing my thinking.  If I can conceive it, I can receive it.

I can shape for myself a better future by reshaping my thoughts NOW!!!

Poverty – a mental and spiritual disease.  What destroys the poor man is his inability to see himself any other way but poor.

My life tends to go in the direction of my most dominant thoughts.

If you can’t imagine it, you’ll never experience it.  Negative imaginations attract negative situations.  You get in life exactly what you sow, and it begins with a thought, idea, and concept.

Most successful people are those who have acquired the ability to see the possible although it looks impossible. The greater your capacity to see possibilities, where others see impossibilities, then the greater your success will be.

Trust in the Source and Not the Resource

June 15, 2018

Jesus Christ is the Source for ALL your needs –  Your Need for Love, Comfort, Encouragement, Health, Wealth, and Prosperity.

He will liberally supply all of your needs.  That is, He will supply far more than what you need.  However, you must have faith in the Word of God.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Phillippians 4:13)

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Phillipians 4:13)

Let’s face it, men and women will fail you.  They will not always be there when you need them.  Some are never their when you need them. But God, the Almighty God, Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Asani, will always be there when you need Him.  God is always there when you need Him.  God is always there when you don’t think you need Him.

“He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.”  (Psalm 91:15)

Trust in me with all of your heart.

Trust in me and you will never fall apart.

Acknowledge me in all of your ways,

And you will have sweet peace all of your days.

I am the truth and the way.

Stand and obey my Word and you won’t stray.

Trust in me with all of your mind,

And spiritual treasures of wisdom and revelation you will find.

  1. When your relationship decomposes, who will love you?
  2. When you lose your mom and dad, brother or sister, who will comfort you?
  3. When you are discouraged, who will encourage you?
  4. When you are sick, who will heal you?
  5. When you are poor and need money, who will give you power to get wealth?
  6. When you are in despair and defeated, who will prosper you?

The Answer to ALL These Questions is God.

He is the truth, the way, and the life, and He wants you to have an abundant life filled with love, joy, and peace.

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)

So set your mind on God and His promises, and mediate on them day and night.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (Joshua 1:8)

Seeking the Face of God

May 25, 2018

When we seek God’s Face, we behold beauty and glory,

which takes us beyond the tallest building story.

Walking, running, and yielding toward God’s way

on the straight and narrow path we will stay.

A path full of love, joy, peace, and blessings,

if we are faithful to trust God through our testings.

O God, faithful and true,

thanks for leading and guiding us always to you.

May 4, 2018

Many times in life we experience pain due to rejection and mistreatment by others.  This bruises our emotions and makes us fee less valuable or valueless.  However, we must remember that Jesus Christ is our strength, healer, and restorer.  But we must put all of our trust in Jesus Christ.  He will see you through.  You must establish yourself in righteousness (rightness, in conformity with God’s will and order).  Then and only then will you be far from oppression and destruction.  Far from the very thought of oppression and destruction.

In John 10:10, it says the devil, your enemy seeks to kill, steal and destroy.  One of the devil’s strategies is to oppress you.  Oppress means to weight heavily upon; persecute.  He uses people to persecute you.  For example, if you stand against abortion, others may ridicule you for your stance.  The devil also uses people to oppress you.  For example, someone may reject and neglect you emotionally.  Someone may physically abuse you.  However, you can overcome and avoid oppression by discovering who you are in Christ, trusting (depending and relying) on God and His Word.

When you receive God’s love, joy, and peace, and compassion, recognize and depend upon the Holy Spirit to operate in your life, and obey God’s Word.  Then you can surely overcome any and all obstacles the devil throws in your way.

Definition of Oppression

Oppression is anything or anybody that holds you back from accepting and committing your life to Jesus Christ.  It’s goal is for you to fall into the grave where there is a bottomless pit.

It works through people who appear to be helping you increase and prosper, but through manipulation, lying, and deception they guide you to the bottomless pit.  A bottomless pit of torment and destruction that feeds on wickedness.  The devices of wickedness include constant accusation of negative past behavior, and subjection of you to its every request.

Soloman in Ecclesiastes 4:1 says “So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun:  and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of there oppressors there was power, but they had no comforter.”

How to Overcome Oppression

A.   Comfort is Imperative

Comfort is essential in overcoming because it soothes the discomfort associated with oppression. This discomfort may be in the form of pain, stress, low self-esteem, and loneliness.

Crying normally accompanies oppression.  When you cry in your secret chambers, the oppression remains, but when you cry to God, he will hear your cry and heal you.  Jesus Christ is the Healer (John14:26).  The healing process is made up of two parts – comfort and restoration.  Jesus Christ soothes the wounds (comforts) and makes you whole (restores).  (Acts 10:38)

Jesus Christ heals all who are oppressed because of the power God has given Him.  You see, God is the source for Jesus’ ability and authority to perform these actions.

  1. Walking in Victory “That You Have Overcome

Victory means deliverance, help, safety, and triumph.

Triumph means to overcome, conquer, joyful, and rejoice.

Victory is a sign that you have overcome conditions and circumstances through dependence on Jesus Christ, which is the only way you can experience victory.  When one has overcome a negative condition or circumstance, his natural response is to rejoice because he is no longer pinned under or bound by the condition or circumstance.  Therefore, he becomes free to experience joy which yields rejoicing = triumph = victory.

“. . .in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him (Jesus Christ) that loves us.” (Romans 8:37)

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world:  and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.  Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God.” (I John 5:4-5)

“And they overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus Christ), and by the word of their testimony . . .” (Revelation 12:11)

The only way to BREAKTHROUGH and be delivered from oppression is to:

  1. Believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.  (Romans 10:9-11)
  2. Know that you have all power and authority over the oppressor (Satan).  (Luke 10:19, Romans 8:37)
  3. Ask the Lord to place a shield of protection around you.

(Psalm 61:2-3, Psalm 91:3-4)

  1. Bind the devil in the name of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 16:19)
  2. Speak the Word of God for it is a two-edged sword.  (Revelation 12:11)

Today, I declare that I am determined to receive the prize that Jesus has prepared for me and that nothing from my past or my future, nor any trials or difficulties of the present will be able to keep me from your wonderful love and provision.  I declare that I am an overcomer, and I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Stretching Forth His Hand

April 20, 2018

God is seeking and stretching forth His hand of blessings to those who are sincere about Him (those who are 100% committed to Him – who are steadfast in their faith).

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch, as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” (I Corinthians 15:58)

Those who are established and firmly settled, God will:

1.             Deliver them from all their troubles;

2.             Bless them beyond measure to be a blessing to others;

3.             Answer their prayers; and

4.             Take them to higher spiritual heights through greater wisdom and revelation.

God is calling you to enter into His kingdom today.

Be sure to answer the call,

if you don’t tomorrow you will fall.

Seek God early while He may be found,

and the benefits of love, joy, and peace will abound.

So many people sit in churches and hear the message through God’s called and  appointed  messengers, but do not apply the principles and corrective measures in their lives.

“And you treated as nothing all my counsel and would accept none of my reproof, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when the thing comes that shall cause you terror and panic—When your panic comes as a storm and desolation and your calamity comes on as a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you.  Then will they call upon me (Wisdom) but I will not answer; they will seek me early and diligently but they will not find me.” (Proverbs 1:24-28)

Some people go to church for the wrong motive – for example, to find a husband or wife with no interest and no respect for the Word of God.  They do not have a “hearing ear”.

“Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord, would accept none of my counsel, and despised all my reproof.  Therefore, shall they eat of the fruit of their own way and be satiated with their own devices.  For the backsliding of the simple shall slay them, and the careless ease of (self-confident) fools shall destroy them.  But whoso hearkens to me (Wisdom) shall dwell securely and in confident trust and shall be quiet, without fear or dread of evil.” (Proverbs 1:29-33)

The consequence of a non-hearing ear is that you will enter into a backslidden position and remain there until you decide to hearken to Wisdom.  Wisdom will protect you and guide you into a life of abundant love, joy, and peace.

WISDOM FORMULAKnowing the Word of God + Understanding the Word of God + Applying the Word of God = Wisdom

Listen to God and heed His Word.  Reverently honour and Worship Him, for this will save your life from eternal destruction, and keep you on the straight and narrow road that leads to an abundant life.

In God’s pavilion He meets your every need.

If you will run to Him and make Him your Rock of Refuge with speed.

He knows your very heart and mind.

He is glorified when you open it and are kind.

Trust in Him with all your heart and He won’t lead you astray.

He will lead and guide you along the righteous way.

He is always there,

So don’t despair.

Just give Jesus your all, and know that you are in the Best of care.

Step Out Into the Deep

March 23, 2018

“Stepping Out” requires you to move forward; take a step forward.  Imagine you are standing in one position, in order for you to move, you’ve got to pick up one leg and step out from your standing position you are in and place your foot in front. Once you move one foot forward, the other foot will follow; and before you know it, you are walking – constantly taking steps forward.  But this forward movement was the result of first “stepping out”.

Similar to stepping out with your feet and moving forward via walking,  You also must step out of your past and move into our future.  Stepping out of your past means not allowing PAST decisions and PAST mistakes to dictate and determine how you will live in the future.  For example, just because you smoked pot in high school and made poor grades as a result, doesn’t mean you have to keep smoking pot today.  You must make a decision to stop smoking pot so it doesn’t continue to destroy your brain cells, and hinder your cognitive processes.

Another example is just because you had pre-marital sex, doesn’t mean you have to keep having it. If you continue to have premarital sex, there is a high probability that you will contract a STD and AIDS.  Therefore, you must analyze and reach the conclusion that it is not worth getting a STD or AIDS, and make a Decision to stop having premarital sex.

The First Step in Stepping Out into the deep is to Decide to stop engaging in negative behavior.  This requires a renewing of the mind, which is a constant process.

“I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.  Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].”  (Romans 12:1-2)

Determination means to make a firm decision to do something.

DETERMINATION requires stability of the mind, emotions, and spirit.  Once you make a decision to follow Jesus Christ, you will not allow anyone or anything to cause you to turn back and follow the worldly standards of living.  You will follow Christ, regardless of the cost.

“No man having put his hand to the plow, and looks back to the things behind is fit for the Kingdom of God.”  (Luke 9:2)

God desires for ALL of His children to move forward.  When you plough land, you are constantly taking steps forward; you are focused on forward movement (pressing forward to the next step); never looking back.

One step forward automatically leads to the next step if you are determined to go the next step. As you go from one step to the next step, you will constantly grow in knowledge, understanding, and wisdom of the Word of God.

“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.”  (Colossians 1:9-14)

Discipline means self-control.

“Be still and rest in the Lord:  wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him; fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.”  (Psalm 37:7)

God will deal with the evil one who seeks to distract, steal, kill, and destroy you.  He will execute judgment and righteousness on your behalf.  He will see to it that the evil one gets what he deserves – God said vengeance is mine saith the Lord.

It is essential to exercise self-control in our lives to maintain holiness (sanctification).  We can’t be guided by our emotions and natural minds.  We can’t get up and pray /study when we feel like it, or go to church when we feel like it.  We must die (not give in) to our human feelings and desires and accept and embrace God’s ways and desires, which are found in His Word.

We must dedicate our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God.  This sacrifice is ongoing throughout our lives.  We must follow God’s will and ways for our lives, rather than our own will and ways.  God and His Word must guide us.  Our submission and obedience to His Word will bring about positive change in our lives – spiritually, mentally, and physically.  God’s Word is our source for change; our tool to effect change in others; and our guide for empowerment and prosperity.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  And be not conformed to this world (customs and attitudes), but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”   (Romans 12:1-2)

“Do not let yourself be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”  (Romans 12:21)

Your thoughts dictate your actions and your attitudes.

“As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”  (Proverbs 23:7)

It is important to align your thoughts with God’s thoughts – found in His Word.  When you speak positively, passionately and in the present tense, then this activates the forces of my human spirit to lay hold of the spirit and power of God.

“The hand of the diligent will rule, but the slothful will be put to forced labor.”  (Proverbs 12:24)

“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:  And all these blessings shall come to thee and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.”  (Deuteronomy 28:1-2)

Diligence means consistent.

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing and being continually aware that your labour in the Lord is not futile.”  (I Corinthians 15:58)

“But without faith it is impossible to please him:  for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”  (Hebrews 11:6)

It is important to be consistent in prayer, reading, studying, and meditating on the Word of God on a regular basis – developing the PRSM Method.  When you develop the PRSM Method, you will undoubtedly grow in knowledge and understanding of the Word of God, and develop a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.  Your rewards will be immeasurable.

“Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.”  (Psalm 119:4)

Leave Your Past Behind.  It is essential that you leave your past so you can move forward in your life and discover and fulfill your God-given destiny.

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13)

“For I know the thoughts and plans I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for prosperity and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.”  (Jeremiah 29:11)

Don’t be hesitant about leaving your past; staying in your present condition of comfort.

You Must Step Out, So You Can Step UpThen God can elevate you.  Notice the word “elevate is present tense.  Therefore, God will continue to elevate you throughout your life, but you must submit to God’s will and way, instead of your own will and way of doing.  Don’t hold on to your plan, but accept and adopt God’s Plan for your life.

“Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.”  (Psalm 143:10)

How many of you know that God’s plan for your life is the Best Plan for your life?  “You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself the chief Cornerstone.” (Ephesians 2:20)  “

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.”

In order for you to accept and adopt God’s plan for your life, there must be a shifting.

  1. A shift from a spirit of pride into a spirit of humility.

  1. A shift from a “lack mentality in to an Abundant mentality.  “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” (John 10:10) (3 John 1:2)
  1. A shift from a negative attitude into a positive mindset about yourself.   You are not flawless, but your can change your attitude by accepting and believing how God views you – as fearfully and wonderfully made; beautiful; God’s delight.
  1. A shift from a victim mentality into a victor mentality. “I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].”  (Philippians 4:13)   “Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.”  (Isaiah 41:10)  “I sought (inquired of) the Lord and required Him [of necessity and on the authority of His Word], and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” (Psalm 34:4)  “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles.” (Psalm 34:17)
  1. A shift from toxic relationships to righteous associations.  People are like elevators; they take you up; take you down, or get you stuck.  Your associations can: (1) shipwreck your faith; (2) take you off your God-given course, and lead you on a path of destruction.

I challenge you to Step Out into the Deep, Starting Today!!!
