STAY CONNECTED

September 9, 2018

Stay connected to Jesus Christ even when the winds fall and the valleys run deep.

When it seems like all you need is sleep.

When it seems there is no way out.

Trust in Jesus, He is the truth and the way without a doubt.

He will shape and mold you all the way through.

Just don’t give up when you are feeling blue.

The trials and tribulations you experience are designed to strengthen your faith and trust in Jesus (the Holy One).

Transcending the Ordinary

August 5, 2018

God is a God of possibility who is able to do what seems to be impossible to us.  We must believe.

But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him.  For whoever would come near to God must believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him out. (Hebrews 11:6 AMP)

God can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20)

God is the master of transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary — like a caterpillar changes into a butterfly.  God dictates the timing and progress of change based upon our will and desire to change and to meet the conditions necessary to effect the change.

WE NEED ONLY BELIEVE in His Word, His Power, and His Authority and apply it in our lives.

Let your hearts be at rest

and you will receive God’s best.

Know that He is there to lead and guide you through the toils and pains of life,

Molding, shaping, and transforming you; deepening your depths and stregthening your heart without strife.

Acknowledge Him to be your Lord and King,

And you will never doubt anything.

I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. (Psalm 91:2)

When you truly put our faith and trust in Him,

You allow Him to convert the ordinary into the extraordinary.

We can experience this conversion everyday,

if by God’s side, we will stay.

Trust in the Source and Not the Resource

June 15, 2018

Jesus Christ is the Source for ALL your needs –  Your Need for Love, Comfort, Encouragement, Health, Wealth, and Prosperity.

He will liberally supply all of your needs.  That is, He will supply far more than what you need.  However, you must have faith in the Word of God.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Phillippians 4:13)

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Phillipians 4:13)

Let’s face it, men and women will fail you.  They will not always be there when you need them.  Some are never their when you need them. But God, the Almighty God, Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Asani, will always be there when you need Him.  God is always there when you need Him.  God is always there when you don’t think you need Him.

“He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.”  (Psalm 91:15)

TRUST IN ME

Trust in me with all of your heart.

Trust in me and you will never fall apart.

Acknowledge me in all of your ways,

And you will have sweet peace all of your days.

I am the truth and the way.

Stand and obey my Word and you won’t stray.

Trust in me with all of your mind,

And spiritual treasures of wisdom and revelation you will find.

  1. When your relationship decomposes, who will love you?
  2. When you lose your mom and dad, brother or sister, who will comfort you?
  3. When you are discouraged, who will encourage you?
  4. When you are sick, who will heal you?
  5. When you are poor and need money, who will give you power to get wealth?
  6. When you are in despair and defeated, who will prosper you?

The Answer to ALL These Questions is God.

He is the truth, the way, and the life, and He wants you to have an abundant life filled with love, joy, and peace.

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)

So set your mind on God and His promises, and mediate on them day and night.

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (Joshua 1:8)

The God of Possibility

May 18, 2018

. . . with men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)

Possible – capable of existing; being true, being accomplished; being used for a particular purpose.

There are many benefits to trusting God, and putting our faith in His Word.  As we continue to  feast on the Word, it penetrates our hearts and minds, renewing them, and thereby changing our thoughts and attitudes.

The more we feast on the Word, the quicker the limits we place on God will be removed.  Limits that have been implanted through:

  1. Unbelief, doubt, and worry;
  2. Believing what others say about God;
  3. The indoctrinalization by parents and other persons of influence; and
  4. Walking according to our own imagination and feelings.

God wants us to remove the limits because as we place limits on His ability to fulfill His promises, we correspondingly place limits on our receiving the fullness of our blessings and our ability to fulfill our God-given purposes.

When we remove the limits through reading, studying, and meditating on the Word of God, we can soar like an eagle through the sky.  We can know with assurance through the most difficult circumstances, that “God is able to do the impossible.”

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust:  his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. (Psalm 91:4)

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  Be not wise in thine own  eyes:  fear the Lord, and depart from evil. (Proverbs 3:5-7)

Some trust in and boast of chariots and some of horses, but we will trust in and boast of the name of the Lord our God.  They are bowed down and fallen, but we are risen and stand upright.  (Psalm 20:7-8)

By trusting in God we:

  1. Receive strength mightier than the Rock of Gibraltar;
  2. Receive joy that is everlasting through God’s everlasting presence;
  3. Receive our heart’s desire;
  4. Receive blessings to be a blessing.
  5. Receive a crown of pure gold, representing the purity of our heart, mind, and soul.
  6. Receive long life.
  7. Receive great glory.
  8. Receive splendor and majesty.

When we trust in God unreservedly (without an ounce of doubt), we place ourselves in a “Risen” position and remain there.  However, once doubt creeps in, we immediately begin to fall away, our faith begins to weaken, and we begin to lose sight of God and His purposes for our lives

WE MUST STAY FOCUSED and REMOVE THE LIMITS IN OUR LIVES.

Step Out Into the Deep

March 23, 2018

“Stepping Out” requires you to move forward; take a step forward.  Imagine you are standing in one position, in order for you to move, you’ve got to pick up one leg and step out from your standing position you are in and place your foot in front. Once you move one foot forward, the other foot will follow; and before you know it, you are walking – constantly taking steps forward.  But this forward movement was the result of first “stepping out”.

Similar to stepping out with your feet and moving forward via walking,  You also must step out of your past and move into our future.  Stepping out of your past means not allowing PAST decisions and PAST mistakes to dictate and determine how you will live in the future.  For example, just because you smoked pot in high school and made poor grades as a result, doesn’t mean you have to keep smoking pot today.  You must make a decision to stop smoking pot so it doesn’t continue to destroy your brain cells, and hinder your cognitive processes.

Another example is just because you had pre-marital sex, doesn’t mean you have to keep having it. If you continue to have premarital sex, there is a high probability that you will contract a STD and AIDS.  Therefore, you must analyze and reach the conclusion that it is not worth getting a STD or AIDS, and make a Decision to stop having premarital sex.

The First Step in Stepping Out into the deep is to Decide to stop engaging in negative behavior.  This requires a renewing of the mind, which is a constant process.

“I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.  Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].”  (Romans 12:1-2)

Determination

Determination means to make a firm decision to do something.

DETERMINATION requires stability of the mind, emotions, and spirit.  Once you make a decision to follow Jesus Christ, you will not allow anyone or anything to cause you to turn back and follow the worldly standards of living.  You will follow Christ, regardless of the cost.

“No man having put his hand to the plow, and looks back to the things behind is fit for the Kingdom of God.”  (Luke 9:2)

God desires for ALL of His children to move forward.  When you plough land, you are constantly taking steps forward; you are focused on forward movement (pressing forward to the next step); never looking back.

One step forward automatically leads to the next step if you are determined to go the next step. As you go from one step to the next step, you will constantly grow in knowledge, understanding, and wisdom of the Word of God.

“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.”  (Colossians 1:9-14)

Discipline

Discipline means self-control.

“Be still and rest in the Lord:  wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him; fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.”  (Psalm 37:7)

God will deal with the evil one who seeks to distract, steal, kill, and destroy you.  He will execute judgment and righteousness on your behalf.  He will see to it that the evil one gets what he deserves – God said vengeance is mine saith the Lord.

It is essential to exercise self-control in our lives to maintain holiness (sanctification).  We can’t be guided by our emotions and natural minds.  We can’t get up and pray /study when we feel like it, or go to church when we feel like it.  We must die (not give in) to our human feelings and desires and accept and embrace God’s ways and desires, which are found in His Word.

We must dedicate our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God.  This sacrifice is ongoing throughout our lives.  We must follow God’s will and ways for our lives, rather than our own will and ways.  God and His Word must guide us.  Our submission and obedience to His Word will bring about positive change in our lives – spiritually, mentally, and physically.  God’s Word is our source for change; our tool to effect change in others; and our guide for empowerment and prosperity.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  And be not conformed to this world (customs and attitudes), but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”   (Romans 12:1-2)

“Do not let yourself be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”  (Romans 12:21)

Your thoughts dictate your actions and your attitudes.

“As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”  (Proverbs 23:7)

It is important to align your thoughts with God’s thoughts – found in His Word.  When you speak positively, passionately and in the present tense, then this activates the forces of my human spirit to lay hold of the spirit and power of God.

“The hand of the diligent will rule, but the slothful will be put to forced labor.”  (Proverbs 12:24)

“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:  And all these blessings shall come to thee and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.”  (Deuteronomy 28:1-2)

 Diligence

Diligence means consistent.

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing and being continually aware that your labour in the Lord is not futile.”  (I Corinthians 15:58)

“But without faith it is impossible to please him:  for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”  (Hebrews 11:6)

It is important to be consistent in prayer, reading, studying, and meditating on the Word of God on a regular basis – developing the PRSM Method.  When you develop the PRSM Method, you will undoubtedly grow in knowledge and understanding of the Word of God, and develop a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.  Your rewards will be immeasurable.

“Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.”  (Psalm 119:4)

Leave Your Past Behind.  It is essential that you leave your past so you can move forward in your life and discover and fulfill your God-given destiny.

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13)

“For I know the thoughts and plans I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for prosperity and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.”  (Jeremiah 29:11)

Don’t be hesitant about leaving your past; staying in your present condition of comfort.

You Must Step Out, So You Can Step UpThen God can elevate you.  Notice the word “elevate is present tense.  Therefore, God will continue to elevate you throughout your life, but you must submit to God’s will and way, instead of your own will and way of doing.  Don’t hold on to your plan, but accept and adopt God’s Plan for your life.

“Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.”  (Psalm 143:10)

How many of you know that God’s plan for your life is the Best Plan for your life?  “You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself the chief Cornerstone.” (Ephesians 2:20)  “

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.”

In order for you to accept and adopt God’s plan for your life, there must be a shifting.

  1. A shift from a spirit of pride into a spirit of humility.

  1. A shift from a “lack mentality in to an Abundant mentality.  “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” (John 10:10) (3 John 1:2)
  1. A shift from a negative attitude into a positive mindset about yourself.   You are not flawless, but your can change your attitude by accepting and believing how God views you – as fearfully and wonderfully made; beautiful; God’s delight.
  1. A shift from a victim mentality into a victor mentality. “I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].”  (Philippians 4:13)   “Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.”  (Isaiah 41:10)  “I sought (inquired of) the Lord and required Him [of necessity and on the authority of His Word], and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” (Psalm 34:4)  “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles.” (Psalm 34:17)
  1. A shift from toxic relationships to righteous associations.  People are like elevators; they take you up; take you down, or get you stuck.  Your associations can: (1) shipwreck your faith; (2) take you off your God-given course, and lead you on a path of destruction.

I challenge you to Step Out into the Deep, Starting Today!!!

MY CONFESSION BECOMES MY POSSESSION

January 26, 2018

Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.  (Proverbs 4:23 AMP

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it. (Proverbs 18:21 AMP)

For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced. (Matthew 12:37 AMP)

If we confess faith-filled words, rather than doubtful words. You will experience the effects of your words because they will manifest in the physical.

Faith-filled Words Doubtful Words
I am more  than a conqueror through Jesus Christ I am defeated.
I believe I receive my healing for the high blood pressure. I’m not feeling well.
I am wonderfully made by God. I’m just a nobody.
God loves me. Nobody cares about me.
God blesses me. I’m hanging in there.
I have the victory through Jesus Christ. God is not answering my prayers.
The joy of the Lord is my strength. I’m feeling sad because . . .

When we confess words out of our mouth, we are sowing seeds.  Positive confessions yield positive actions and results.  Negative confessions yield negative actions and results. Therefore, it is essential that we watch what we say because “you shall have what you say.”  You shall reap what you sow.

All actions begin with thoughts.  As we continue to purify our thoughts by renewing our minds through the Word of God, we will see and experience positive actions in our lives, and sow positive actions in others lives.

Renewing our mind through the Word of God means reading, studying and meditating on the Word daily.  In doing so, we will reach higher spiritual heights in God, and grow closer to God.  A closer walk with God yields revelation, knowledge, and wisdom.

Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing the Word of Truth. (II Timothy 2:15 AMP)

By Kenneth Copeland

As born-again, Spirit filled believers, our stepping in to the overflow of God’s Glory and walking in it daily doesn’t just happen automatically.  No. In fact, it’s possible that we could stand in the middle of the greatest outpouring of God’s Glory this world has ever seen, and just watch it pass us by, never experiencing a drop of it.  What you and I experience in these days of overflow comes down to or mouths.  That’s right, the degree of overflow you and I experience in our lives these last of the last days will be determined by our mouths.  It will be the result of the words we speak.  You see, you and I are where we are right now because of the words we spoke yesterday …and the day before that … and the day before that.  That’s simply the way God created us.  The words we speak day after day carry the same degree of force behind them as the words God Himself speaks – even the same force as the Word that came out of His mouth and created the universe.

All the overflow in Jesus’ life and ministry did not begin manifesting until He began speaking the Word of God – not His own words, but God’s Word (John 12:47-50)  As believers, however, you and I now have God’s Word to speak and God’s Anointing with which to speak it.  . . . Our future is up to us, and it’s all based on the words that we use to  “bringeth forth” things – words to “bringeth forth good things,” or words to “bringeth forth evil things.”

I am the prophet of my own life.  My words – and God’s Word – in my life determine my future.  They determine my health, my wealth and my place in eternity.  My faith-filled words are alive and full of power.  They are enriched -–they are backed – by the Anointing of God, the very power that created the universe.  I am what the Word says I am.  I can do what the Word says I can do.  I can have what the Word says I can have. Out of the abundance of my Word-filled heart, my Word-filled mouth speaks.  Arise and shine!

Not a sick day.  Not a broke day.  Not a sad day.  But everyday, an overflow day!

By Kenneth Hagin – “ACT ON THE WORD”

For verily I (Jesus) say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.  Therefore, I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.  (Mark 11:23,24)

What you say is your faith speaking.  Therefore, you will always have in your life

what you believe for and say.

Did you notice that the word “say” in some form is in Mark 11:23 three times, and the word “believe” is in that verse only once?

My people primarily are not missing it in their believing, for they have been taught to believe and to have faith.  Where they’re missing it is in what they’re saying.

Jesus said, “When you pray, believe you receive, and you shall have it.  (Mark 11:24)

Kenneth Hagin was sick and began speaking doubt, because when his friends asked “How are you feeling?”  He answered “Well, some of the symptoms have come back on me.  Then he remembered that when he would talk about the symptoms, from my inward man would come the words:  I’m well, thank you.  The Word of God says Jesus took my infirmities and bare my sicknesses. He began to change his confession.

What you say, good or bad, is your faith speaking.  If you’re saying, “I’ll never make it,” you won’t.  Proverbs 6:2 says “Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.”

The problem with many people is they’re double-minded.  But the Bible says that we shouldn’t let anyone who wavers in his faith – a double-minded person – think that he will receive anything of the Lord.  (James 1:5-8)  That is why we must hold fast to our original confession of faith, right in the face of seeming defeat.  I know: I’ve done it.  I won’t tell you that it’s easy, because you have to fight your flesh and the devil to do it.  But when you hold your ground and act on the Word, you will see those things, which you say come to pass.
