Locking Patterns

July 22, 2013

God has given us a will that makes choices.  Choices to:

Accept Jesus Christ                                         Reject Jesus Christ

-  Believe the Word of God                                  -  Reject the Word of God

-  Trust in God                                 or                  -  Doubt the Word of God

-  Accept Truth                                                       -  Reject Truth

-  Apply Truth in Your Life

For every choice you make there is a consequence.  Those who choose to do all those things in the left column will live abundant lives; walk in wisdom; and experience eternal life in heaven.

Those who choose to do the things in the right column will live lives of defeat; walk in foolishness, and experience eternal death in hell.

The key is the “Choices you make have a direct effect on the life you live, and Lock you into a pattern of Success or Failure.”

“The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.  God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.  Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” (Psalm 53:1)

“A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.”  (Proverbs 16:9)

Be sure to make right choices because they will set you on the straight and narrow path that leads to righteousness (right Standing) with God.  Then you are guaranteed to live a fulfilled life full of love, joy, and peace.

“Blessed and fortunate and happy and spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be completely satisfied!” (Matthew 5:6)

Light Grow Dim

June 17, 2013

Every Child of God has the light (truth) of Christ in them. But it is very important to keep the light of Christ shining in your life by reading, studying, and meditating on the Word of God, and applying it in your life.

Don’t let the “Light of Christ” grow dim in your life, by allowing the devil to get you to slow down in using the R-S-M method; slow down in going to church; slow down in praising and worshipping Jesus Christ; praying to God.  Once you slow down it can continue and lead to you stopping all of these things.  Bind all hindrances to you keeping the light of Christ burning bright in your life.   Pursue God to Know Him and Develop Intimacy with God.  Pursue God with all of your heart and God will make known His ways and will reward you.

WLWM’s desire is to connect with other women who have battled abuse in their lives, and who have been held back from moving forward for whatever reason. We seek to encourage victims of abuse to go forth and grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ with more commitment & boldness, knowing that through healing and restoration “the good work God has began in them He will complete.’’

Jesus, the Fountain of Living Waters

June 3, 2013

Jesus is the truth, the way, and the life.  He is the source of truth; the example for the way to live; and the reflection of an abundant blessed life.

Many people are thirsty. Thirsty for love, joy, peace and fulfillment.  However, their thirst can only be quenched by Jesus – the Thirst Quencher.

“Now on the final and most important day of the Feast, Jesus stood, and He cried in a loud voice, If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink! He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.”  (John 7:37-38)

You must first believe and continue to believe, trust, and depend on Jesus to supply you with whatever you need to quench your thirst.  Remember the Word of God says, “And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”  (Philippians 4:19)

Don’t put your trust in man or woman because they will let you down.  Put all of your trust in Jesus, who will never disappoint you. He is always there when you need Him.  He will never leave you or forsake you.  He is always there when you need someone to talk to and lead you on the path of righteousness.

JESUS IS THE ROCK

You are the Rock on which I stand.

You will lead me all the way to the promise land.

I can trust you without a doubt.

You bring blessings all about.

In the morning and throughout the day.

In your Word I will trust and obey.

LOOK UP

Look up from whence you have come.  God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that you can ask or think.  You need only come.

Come and humble yourself at the throne of grace, and you will invoke the presence, love, and mercy of God.  He is longing for you to spend some time with Him because he desires to be close and intimate with you – His child.

You must make the time to talk and listen to God; not just keep on running your regular busy schedule without regard to your Master’s pleasure.

For in spending time with God, you will experience love, joy, peace and great intimacy (closeness) beyond measure.

You will receive instructions and know what to do and who to talk to.

Remember to come boldly to the throne of grace,

and on mountain tops and higher levels you will be placed.

Don’t be discouraged on your Christian walk,

You have a Father, Friend, Encourager, and Comforter with whom to talk.

Don’t be anxious or shy,

But allow God to shape and mold you into a beautiful butterfly.

God’s Healthcare Plan

May 26, 2013

  1. Introduction
  2. God’s name is Jehovah Rapha, the God that healeth thee

(Exodus 15:26)

3.  God’s will is that His people be in health (3 John 2)

  1. God has programmed health and healing into our DNA.
  2. God is able to keep us well and disease free (Psalms 103:1-5; Deuteronomy 34:7)
  3. Why are God’s people living in a state of disease?
    1. Christians lack knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)
    2. Christians are violating natural and spiritual laws (Exodus 15:26)
    3. Christians are failing to mix the Word of God with faith (Hebrews 4:2)
    4. Christians are sowing to the flesh and reaping corruption(Galatians 4:8)

Christians are eating and drinking unworthily  (I Corinthians 11:29)

Christians are not discerning the Lord’s body (I Corinthians 11:29)

God’s health care program has a supernatural component.

Jesus bore our sins and our sicknesses (Isaiah 53:4-5)

    1. The healing anointing is on theWord and it heals supernaturally. (Psalm 107:20)
    2. The power in the Word to heal is released by mixing the Word with faith.
    3. Take God’s Word as food daily (Proverbs 4:20-22)
  1. God’s divine health has a natural component.
    1. God promises divine health through food and water (natural law). (Exodus 23:25-26)
    2. The natural laws that were part of the old covenant were a crucial part of God’s health care system for His covenant people. (Daniel 1:12-16; I Timothy 5:23)
    3. We should not expect God to repeal the laws of biochemistry that He established by His Word to govern the operations of our bodies, but must understand and obey them.
    4. Poor diet is a primary factor behind most diseases.

Pray Without Ceasing

March 17, 2013

Rejoice evermore.  Pray without ceasing.  In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (I Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Pray without ceasing does not meant to always talk and get on your knees an pray.  It means don’t give up on the power of prayer.  Don’t become discouraged by life, trials, disappointments, and pain, that you don’t pray.

 Don’t Stop Praying!!!

Practice getting in to the presence of God; cultivating prayer – communication with God.  Pray frequently and constantly.  Nothing is too big or small to pray about.  Pray because of the following reasons:

  1. It will make you a bigger person on the inside and your circumstances better.
  2. It helps you to develop a habit of rejoicing, praising God and giving thanks unto God.
  3. It helps you not to complain and murmur.

Rejoice Always

Prayer Sandwich =

Pray Without Ceasing

Give Thanks

Prayer releases the power of God to accomplish God’s purpose on earth, not yours.  God’s purpose for your life is good and best.    Prayer is never wasted even though your request is not answered with a “Yes”.

God wants you to pray and rejoice in the midst of trials and tribulations.  Praise and thanksgiving keeps you going while you are waiting for God to answer your prayers according to His will that is best for you and fits into God’s divine purpose for your life.  He is not going to give you what looks good, but what is good and best for you.

Prayer is a process – you pray and wait, but rejoice and give thanks during the waiting period.  You need patience and to surrender to God’s will.

Prayer is never wasted, but an investment in the fulfillment of your destiny.

DON’T GIVE UP ON PRAYER!!!

Digesting the Word of God

February 19, 2013

In the natural you use 3 senses relating to digesting food. 1st you see the food; 2nd you smell the food; and 3rd you taste the food and chew it so you can be digested by the digestive organs.  It is then transformed so it can be used to nurture your physical body.

Similar to digesting food, we must Digest the Word of God.  There are 3 processes in digesting the Word of God.  1st you READ the Word; 2nd you Study the Word of God; 3rd you Meditate on the Word of God.  I call it the RSM Method = R-Reading +  S-Studying +  M-Meditating.  When you engage in this process, you begin to digest the Word so that it nurtures your spirit.  The Word takes root in your heart and renews your mind.

As you meditate on the Word of God, you will be like a tree, constantly nurtured in the right amount and the right time.  Therefore, you will constantly yield a harvest and  prosper.

Joshua 1:8 says “This book of the law shall not depart out of thine mouth; but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it.  For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.”

If you mediate on the Word of God day and night and apply the Word of God, then you shall have (present tense = NOW (always NOW) Good Success & PROSPERITY.  Prosperity does not only mean riches, but Increase; Abundance; Overflow.

“The uncompromisingly righteous shall flourish like the palm tree; they shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.  Planted in the house of the Lord, they shall flourish in the courts of our God.”  (Psalm 92:12-13)

The Hebrew word for flourish is “parach”, which means to spread; abroad; abundantly; blossom; break forth; bud; grow; spring; make fly.  I wrote a poem, which I believe really brings enlightenment regarding flourishing.

SET MY SAIL TO THE WIND

The wind blows from the North, South, East and West.

Sometimes it is gentle;

Other times it is brisk and fierce.

But there is one wind that is steady and constant – the wind of the Spirit.

It leads and guides you unto all truth – the Word of God.

The Word of God is the truth, the way, and the life.

You will constantly move forward, and not backward.

You will constantly flow in the purposes of God.

But you must affix your heart and mind on His Word, not on your feelings and emotions.

Allow the Word of God to lead you along the path of righteousness;

And you will never go wrong.

You will set your feet on solid ground,

Instead of going around and around.

The Agape Road

January 8, 2013

The Agape Road is the road that leads to eternal life.

There are trials and tribulations that strengthen you with might.

Love God and never depart along the way,

And you won’t go astray.

Stay close to MY WORD throughout the day,

And blessings and protection can only come your way.

Though your journey seems long.

You’ll reach the end very strong.

Love ME with all of your heart,

and from MY WORD you will never part.

Pearls of Truth

December 30, 2012

The Word – so delicate, makes your inside shine.

The Word full of wisdom, knowledge and truth,

Which leads and guides you on the pathway of righteousness.

The Word is like a tree, which starts as a seed and blossoms into a mighty tree,

rooted and grounded in its foundation.

Plant the seed of the Word in your heart, and it will make you free.

Once the Word seed is planted, it is cultivated by reading, studying, and meditating on the Word.

As a tree bears branches and leaves, cultivation of the Word bears the fruit of love, joy, peace, endurance;

gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance.

This fruit cannot be purchased with money and works, but can only be derived and developed from the greatest pearl – TRUTH, which is priceless and far better than silver and gold.

REACHING FORTH TO HIGHER GROUND

December 15, 2012

Forget those things that are in the past.  So you can move forward.  If you never move forward you will never reach forth.

Lack of love, unforgiveness, bitterness, hatred are all walls that prevent us from reaching higher levels of spiritual understanding and revelation.

Many people hold on to how somebody mistreated them and do not forgive them. After a while the unforgiveness progresses into bitterness, which leads to hatred  Your heart gets harder at each level of progression.  (You become less compassionate, more selfish, and angrier).

These walls get thicker and thicker as days go by until you forgive the person that wronged you.  Once you forgive them, the walls come down and you are free from burdens.  Moreover, instead of limiting God due to your disobedience (forgiving others), you can become free and reach higher spiritual heights.

“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:  But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” (Matthew 6:14-15)

“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” (Ephesians 4:32)

Pursuant to Prayer

December 7, 2012

To God make your needs known,

and His will and way you will be shown.

Seek His face through prayer everyday,

and in His presence you will stay.

His presence in your life yields love, joy, and peace.

Restoration, revelation, and understanding He will increase.
